You put on the glasses, then adjust the dial to control the magnification. The glasses are advertised as being an alternative to conventional optometrist visits and prescription glasses. Yes they work are they perfect? no but we can not afford to replace a set of glasses right now. My girlfriend can’t even see the E at the top of the eye chart! But these don’t leave her in total blindness

These adjustable glasses were better than I expected. It was easy to adjust them to my prescription, and I could read sentences on tv and view images in an even sharper clarity than my expensive ones I bought from my eye doctor! Great for tv viewing!
